Hello everyone,
I own a 2016 xe rsport 25t . I started the engine up yesterday and could here a bit of a squeeling noise coming from the engine . The noise was continuous and did not get any louder when you accelerated.
Has anyone had this problem, or know what it probably could be ?
Also does anyone have any suggestions where I can this fixed or looked at , as I live in North Brisbane? Could I take it to somewhere like MyCar , as scared of getting ripped of at a specialist repairer .

So....did you find out what caused the squealing noise? It's not nice to ask for assistance and then leave everyone hanging. My best guess is a loose or worn fanbelt or possibly a flux capacitor that needs replacing.

I thought the original logic that you are going to get ripped off by workshops with actual marque expertise, diagnostic aids and specialist tools was a bit odd. My experience has been the reverse. They usually hone it on what is really going on quickly and are well connected for parts. Not to mention good advice.
