Peninsula Jag/Murray Scoble workshop excursion?
I have just been on the phone to Jim(58mk1x2) and he has approached Murray Scoble about a workshop visit on a Sunday provided it doesn't clash with his schedule of racing Jaguars. Kooralbyn Valley, Queensland (20min from Beaudesert)
We were thinking maybe one our early runs of 2016 giving us time to work dates with interested members and Murray. Probably best to find out what dates suit him then work from there.

I have read a lot about Murray and his engine building, and have talked a few people with his engines. All good from hearsay.
Even a pic with the Great Bathurst winner, Bob Jane.

This coming Wednesday I be will going to Peninsula Jag to pick up my new short engine. Jim(58mk1x2) will be meeting us there since he lives just up the road from the workshop.
While we are there we will talk to Murray about some dates that suit him for a visit.

Jim & I saw Murray last week, he said it may be a few months before his workshop is ready to take groups like ours, and car clubs etc.
So this one may happen later in the year, but I will keep in touch with Jim and keep you informed.

Ok sweet Clarke. Should be a nice cruise out there, similar area to last Sunday (I looked it up on Google maps).
