Default Time to sell my '74 XJ6 S2 - Brisbane

Hi All,

Thought I'd post the details to my Jag for sale (just listed on Ebay). It's unfortunate but we're selling our house, no room for the ol' girl so she's got to go.

On a personal note, thanks to everyone for their advice and help fixing bits and pieces. It's been very much appreciated and I hope to be back on here active again with a new Jag in years to come

Here's the listing:
1974 S2 Jaguar XJ6 L 4 2L Twin Carb in Victoria Point, QLD | eBay

Cheers,
Dan

Hi Clarke,

Yes and unfortunately it sold to someone who just flips cars by the looks of things. It's back on ebay for 4 times the price I sold it to him!! I don't mind if that's your thing (flipping cars) but I gave him all my spare parts, and expensive car cover thinking he was a Jag guy...boy was I a sucker. I priced it really cheap too thinking it will go to a good home and get the love and attention it needs to get back up to 100%.

Oh well, live and learn I suppose.

Cheers,
Dan

I hate to hear those kind of story's. I have had similar in the past, sold a lovingly restored bike to a guy I thought was a genuine buyer only to see it up for auction a week later. I was in a position where I needed to get some cushion back in the bank at the expense of a classic bike.
