Just thought I would show what happened to me on Monday morning coming out of Melbourne near Avenel

Came round a blind corner at 110KMH next thing line marking truck in front of me 3 choices head on,go bush or squeeze between the line marking truck and a car carrier

I chose between car carrier and line marking truck thought of head on with the rear of the line marking truck or a tree was not very appealing

The crazy thing my brother and I where both in the van and I was driving not a scratch on us but couldn't help think if I was in my X350 or XJR6 probably wouldn't be here today the rip in the front wing and door is face height on the X350 and XJR6

The van is a write of only panel not damaged is the roof everything else toast couldn't get pics of the driver side its the same

Amazing thing still drives though drove it all the way home to Queensland got some interesting looks on the way home LOL

Glad to hear you both made it home safe Doc, 1,700km trip(1050 miles). I bet you got some interesting looks.

And both your Jags are still in one piece.

Hi doc,

That's one very scary incident ... very thankful neither you nor brother were injured. Quickly, go buy a Lotto ticket, doc ... and put half your winnings in the plate on Sunday. LOL.

... and I thought blowing a rear tyre on the E Type at 140mph was exciting!

Great to see you back in print doc ... I was chasing you back some months ago (can't remember what for, so it must have been quite important). Mate, if you remember what it was about, please let me know so I can ask you properly! ROFL. I rather think it may have been to stitch you up with Clarke and see if we could all meet up your way sometime ... but, I see you're acquainted, and touring is out for me at present.

Best wishes,
Ken

Damn.

The choices we make in a split second, amazing.

Also glad you and bro are fine. The van can be replaced as we know.

Ouch!

Good to hear you both made it through that without a scratch. It could so easily have been a very different outcome.
