Question Shadow Chrome Wheel finish, where do you get it???

Hi All,
Having recently acquired my new XKR Portfolio, one of the things I had to get done were the wheels which were badly gutter scraped. As you may be aware the Portfolio Cremona wheels have a fairly specialised and unique finish, which I believe is referred to as “Shadow Chrome”.
I’m hoping that there may be someone in Here that may be able to direct me to where I can have these wheels refinished to the correct colour, as all the usual suspects (NewWay Wheels, etc.. ) have been unable to assist.
The dealer I bought the car from said that he found someone that could do it, but woh & behold, when the car was delivered, the wheels were just painted a silver finish. So I need to try and get them redone.
in addition, I now also found out that one of the front wheels is out of round (hence the cause of some vibration I was experiencing). Goodness knows where I’ll be able to source another Cremona wheel here though?

Hey mate, it's your lucky day, Jagdaim in Melbourne apparently have a few new Cremona wheels at a decent price!

Also for wheel repairs try Advanced alloys in Moorabbin (which is around the corner from Jagdaim) I've used them for rolling and repainting shadow chrome wheels. Note that it's not a cheap repair, pretty much on par with the above price on a new wheel.

Hi dopey,

Sadly the wheels at JagDaim are the rears only. I needed the fronts which are 8.5” wide. Similarly It was all too hard for Advanced wheels to do the Shadow Chrome, tried them.

Sorry to hear I would've thought Advanced alloys would've been able to help. At least they should be able to get the wheel round again, unless the damage is in the spoke area.
