finally purchased my dream car a 2001 xkr convertible,shipped to red deer from its one owner retired Vancouveritte.
Is there any get togethers coming up in the nicer weather for Jag owners?

Our two centers of activity seem to be in Southern Ontario and Vancouver. Can't say I know of much going on in your area right now.

I'm sure you will enjoy the car.. possibly try the xkr forum, or all the forums for that matter in that you can ask if anyone from your area has a jaguar and wants to form a get together.
Its possible some people are on the specific car sites, but not the Canada site.

Indeed the Canada section is light in traffic but the XKR owners section is quite lively and active. I guess our cars are so rare that we need a worldwide audience to get enough owners to get into the discussion.

I have found this forum overall to be among the most helpful and friendly there is.

Coincidentally I bought my 2002 XKR coupe about 2 weeks after this post (in Calgary).

We might do a speed run out to Canmore and Johnson's Canyon this weekend depending on weather.

Many moons ago I lived in Calgary. Here are my two favourites routes. I was on a crotch rocket back in those days.
You probably know these routes but what the hey, thought I would toss them to you anyway. If you get near kamloops send me a private message and I will do my best to hookup with ya.
