Default 2008 Audi A6 detail at - 16F

Hi guys

I hope everyone is staying warm this winter and your beloved ride is well protected from the winter elements.

I have a 2008 Audi A6 S-line equipped with 3 spoke sport steering wheel, sports seats, black headliner, more aggressive bumpers, and side skirts. The owner just brought this CPO Audi and wants it protected for winter. The exterior had the usual dealership prep work, but the interior was surprisingly clean.

So here we go

Paint

  • ONR
  • Megs LT 1:1
  • Iron X
  • Ricarrdo Clay
  • IPA 2:1
  • STN MF towels
  • Metro Vac & blow
  • CG black light
  • Opt seal 2 coats

Wheels and Tires

  • AG CWC 1:1
  • Meg hype dressing 3:1
  • Opti-seal on rims
  • Metro Vac & blow
  • STN MF towels

Interior

  • MS leather and plastic cleaner
  • 1Z cockpit
  • Opt leather protectant
  • Metro Vac & blow

Glass

  • CG EZ creme
  • Meg glass cleaner
  • DD glass towels

What did you use to polish the stainless steel tail pipe?

I didn't do it on this detail, but I use Autosol or optimum metal polish for the tail pipes or any metal polishing.

Nice job, well done.....thanks for sharing!

XJL.... for exhaust tips many times 0000 steel wool and a metal polish such as Mothers or Meguiars works fabulous....I use the 0000 steel wool when the tips are pitted and have excessive carbon build up.
