Double Coats Of Wax

Double Coats Of Wax
hey guys, I always use spray wax when I wash and dry on a weekly ( if not more) basis. However from time to time (every 2 months or so even t hough my car is garaged both at home and at lots of places I frequent) I like to apply a coat of traditional wax too, of course. Tonight ( never wash when its hot out or in sunlight ) i was going to use Zymol's Cleaner Wax ( 1 step cleanse plus wax ) followed by maguiars gold class paste wax for optimal shine and protection(at its price and availability). From reading on here and other places multi-coats seem to be very popular. The question I have is do I need to wait between applying the two coats or can I do them back to back? Some people give me one answer, some another. Back to back is optimal since it is my daily driver (and usually my only car) and doing one at night and one in the morning might also not be practical. Please let me know! Thanks as always!

RE: Double Coats Of Wax
You don't want to apply a second coat of the cleaner wax as the second coat will only remove the first. If you apply the Meg's Cleaner Wax and then the Gold Class wax you have in effect applied two coats of wax. You don't have to let the first layer cure but it doesn't hurt. Maybe wait an hour or so.
