Jaguar XJ X358 Detailed
Hmm, the title is misleading I guess, I'm NOT a detailer, far from it, but this is about as close as I get....
Over the past few weeks, the paint has been detarred, the windows and entire car clay barred to remove contaminants.
I've since painted my hubs n calipers probably about 3 times ,( initially went with black as was on the car, then more recently 2 coats of Red topped with Ferarri Rosso gloss red )
The wheel centres replaced with red centre caps and wheel wells cleaned and blackened.
I've also recently had a new Red Growler front grille badge added, as well as an R badge ( I'll take the stick now...lol ) really adds a splash of colour
The paintwork has been cut to minimise scratches ( not perfect, but much much better )
It then had a coat of Poorboys blackhole, and today another 4 hours saw another coat of PB Blackhole, topped with nattys blue paste wax, tyres blacked with Wet n black
Pic heavy, see below....love a shiny car!!!...
Far from perfect, but perfect from afar....lol
Thanks for looking......

Thanks for the kind words Graham.....
In all honesty, I've sweated the decision on the red calipers for weeks, months probably. In fact just recently re did them in the black colour they were originally.
I eventually persuaded myself that red would work and should give it a go and am so glad I did, really happy with it.
I concluded that worst case scenario I would have the wheels off again a few times to get back to black...lol
I'm really happy with the way these and a few other small mods have turned out, slightly changing the look of the car, IMO for the better somewhat.
Lol @ the Concours remark.....Jeeesh, soooo far away its scary, but hopefully a decent daily driver.
