Default window cleaning tip

Instead of paper, terry or micro-fiber cloth towels , use balled up newspaper. It seems that the ink reacts with the expensive blue stuff (Windex) to prevent smears. Steer clear of colored inks, they tend to "bleed" on paint but wipes right up. Also clean windows prior to vacuuming!! SPARKLING shine!
Happy Motoring

I use this product called invisible glass and some bounty paper towels - glass comes out great but does require some elbow grease.

I have seen many people recommend the newspaper treatment. Some even use vinegar mixed with water.

Invisible Glass with newspapers is the way to go. I have been using it for a while with great results.

I can agree with JJ on this...it really doesn't matter what you use to apply the solution ( warm soapy water with a capful of vinegar ) and then clean off with old newspaper for the best shine around

i use invisible glass as well but with microfiber towels....my little brother (detail expert lol) swears by invisible glass and newspaper if you have some around as J says

also for a lot better, and easier results: make sure the glass is not hot and youre not in direct sunlight; both make it much more difficult to achieve good results

I've used many brands but like others have said, Invisible glass is by far the best there is. I use this in conjunction with glass microfiber towels. I have tint on some of my cars and don't want newspaper to potentially scratch it.

Jaguar Dealers also have the polish/Paste, that I can say really keeps the wipers from shuddering and squeaking, even older blades perform great...My dealer always gave me a complimentary bottle of the stuff after any service...
