Default Zymol Cleanse questions

I have some Zymol HD Cleanse. The directions say to apply it with a pad using a back and forth motion....not circular. Can it be applied with an orbital buffer? Will the HD Cleanse get rid of minor swirls and scratches or do I need a different product? If I do need a different product, should I use the HD Cleanse before or after I use that product to get rid of the swirls and scratches? Thanks for your help.

I wish I could give you an answer to this one, but unfortunetly I have never used Zymol HD Cleanse before. I would follow the manufacturers suggestions for application since they developed and tested the product thoroughly. Tell me what type of vehicle are you detailing, year, make, model, color and overall condition........

'06 Jag XKR Coupe Salsa (red). The paint is in good condition...I think. Has some very fine scratches and swirling....no hazing that I can see. It's not a garage queen, I drive it every day. But I try to keep it in good condition with washing and waxing. I have a d/a and I want to remove the scratches and swirls. I'm gonna wax it with Zymol Titanium.

In my arsenal I very often use Meguiar's M205 to eliminate, not cover up the scratches and swirls that you are telling me about on your Jaguar. I am not sure what type of D/A you have, or the types of pads that you have since there are so many choices out there. I would recommend using a polishing pad, something like the Meguiar's W8006 which is a medium density pad or a similar variation thru another manufacturer. I also like the white LC pad for this step. Then follow up using the D/A, a finishing pad...I like the blue LC pad and your Zymol Titanium.....if it can be machine applied. If not follow manufacturers directions for applying Zymol....

P.S. Always clay surfaces first prior to polishing on a clean just washed surface......
