Just waxed my car with Zymol Cleaner Wax.
It wasn't as good as I hoped, worked about as good as the Turtle Wax I used last time that only cost 6 bucks compared to 13.
It reflected water pretty good tho, I'll see how long it lasts for. The turtle wax was good for like 4.5 months.
With the Zymol stuff you realy need to make an effort to clean/strip the finish proper to make it worth 100%.

Man, checked out some new XK's today at a local Dealer. Nice but not $79K nicer than my '97!

Sorry Phil. Call me in 10 years when your $95K car is worth $25K and we'll talk!

Just make sure you've got ALL the records!

Man the XKR is amazing. clean or not, that is a beautiful car. love colour too. Phil, great job on the detail. Atleast u got to see Becks play for a few minutes. I was goin to go watch the match, but the tix i could have got cost $200 each, so i didnt bother as he mite not have played. How was the atmosphere at the game?

It's funny how many irregularities you can find in the right light. I was filling up the tank at the gas station today and noticed a blemish on the trunk when the sun caught it just right. You can't see it 99% of the time from various other angles and light conditions.

We have a top class detailer over here Aquill, called Mathew.
Ask him an he'll tell you that even brand new cars in the showroom have swirl marks and imperfections.
For around £270 and around 10 hours or so he can have your car in " better than showroom" condition.
He even takes pics of items in the reflection of the car and they are crystal clear.....absolutely the mutts nutts 4 sure.
I keep mine in pretty good order and still wouldn't mind gettin it done

He know anyone good over here in Michigan??? I'd like something like that for mine...perhaps hit it up with a paint marker to cover the rock chips up!

Don't you have "chips away" over there for that? Although generally speaking they may not touch a bonnet / hood anyway cos of the amount of chips likely to be there.
Best bet for that mate has to be a respray of that section, they'll blend it in to the front wings as well for a good match.
Can be costly though[&:]

No biggie! I think some idiot (before I bought it) stepped right in front of the leaper on the bumper and there is no support or anything there...doesn't appear to be front stress fracture so I guarantee it was some little kid not knowing better...oh well I'm not shrugging it...got a good deal on her when I bought her!

No just don't get really close! No the crack is really the only problem other than the couple of stone chips but if you drive a car on public roads you are bound to get stone chips...oh well!
