I was tempted until he told me it had done 294,000 miles!!! It's an ex private hire taxi from the midlands. It has original engine, gearbox and most major mechanical and electrical components.

Whats the highest mileage Diesel Jag that is on here?

The mileage of Diesel Jags lies somewhere around 17 to 25 Miles per Gallon. May be You would like to know bit more about jaguars before buying as the reviews about this on were not that great.

You've just replied to a post that was made over three months ago. Adam explained he is a trader and the vehicle will be long gone. He was asking about recorded mileage and not mpg.

After driving and trading X's for a while now, personal experience of the 2.0d has shown me that the engine and drivetrain can return realistic, real world figures of 38+mpg. Better than the 17-25 that you have experienced. May I suggest that you have your 2.0d inspected at your local Jaguar agent because I feel that you may have a significant problem with your car.

Alas, back to the actual subject matter and question posed within my actual thread, as pointed out, was what is the highest recorded mileage (distance) of a members diesel Jaguar. The one that I was offered had done 294,000 miles. Unfortunately the car was worthless to me so decided not to take a gamble on it.
