Icebear,

Did you buy one? Are you happy with the outcome?

Cheers

hi there, i bought the racechip, the mid-range version.
RaceChip® Pro2 Chiptuning

i'm pleased to say i'm very happy with the outcome. the throttle lag is still there, but when the turbo spools.. the kick is much greater.

best part is, during normal driving (average Fuel consumption) has actually improved!

so far it seems to have delivered what was promised, and for a reasonable price.
its also easy to install once you get the hang of it, 5min job on a cool engine (first time10-15min cos you gotta figure out how to run the cables without touch the potential hot stuff that could melt and damage the cables), but after the first time, its a 5min job to install/uninstall.

Sounds great, thanks for posting.

I've looked at tuning boxes for my sons Xtype diesel and also fro the Ford Mondeo ST Tdci, same engine more or less.

Tbh though, still be a remap for my money I think
