Default XF 2.7D consumption info

Hello,

I just bought a beautiful Jaguar XF 2.7D. The car is simply incredible nice on the outside and inside. My only concern is that I drive quite alot in town. The car trip B had 35mpg value for the last 1000KM the previous owner made. Since then I drove only in town (2days) and went to 33mpg for trip B. So I reset the trip A and checked the consumption for the next few minutes on trip A while driving in town only to be shocked to see ~13mpg ! Is this normal ? What is the accurate value, the one from trip B or the trip A ?

After one day of driving in town 30 minutes I'm getting 19.48 MPG. Is this proper mpg for this car ?

ps. No one here to help me ? Is the forum inactive ?

Very few of the diesel cars were sold, especially in the USA where most members live.

Beware of the DPF - read up on its problems!

I read some info about checking the oil level every 2 weeks right ? not to be diluted with fuel ? And constant rides on highway ?
