I am very interested in club racing as well, however with a four and six year old I have not done much more than look at the website. Speaking of sons and cars, the picture is how I found my son last week after returning from a test drive after I had put the engine back in the Porsche after rethreading the #3 cylinder.

 

Great picture, thanks for sharing. He needs a jack stand in the front too though. Don't trust those hydraulic jacks.

 

It is hard to see, however he had also put my seat just in front of the jack. It amazes me how much he learns from watching as well as the things he figures out on his own.

finely got the e out for a drive. didn't get far. brakes lock up and wont move until you sit for a minute then ok until next stop , then same thing.

Hilarious - great way to price-tease the bottom-feeders. In my humble opinion (YMMV), anything under $20K for your specific E-Type is just feeding the flippers.

I think the 16500 is a fair price. Remember it is only a series 2 2+2. If it was a FHC yes it would have been a steal. But 16500 for a series 2+2 i think is a normal market price. Unless you have a manual transmission it adds in value. I think both you and the buyer have a good deal.

I know E-types has been rising like crazy! lucky i bought mine before the frenzy.
