Pretty much what the title says- recommended that the bonnet be disassembled to media blast or is it overkill? The rest of the car appears to be rust free, but I have read that moisture was still able to get down under the chrome strips separating the wings from the bonnet top.

always best to get at the rust between the seams. "disassemble" as Johnny 5 said.
