Default Loose windscreen washer jet

How do I tighten the retaining nut on the windscreen washer jets?

You can try to pull center dash panel and reach thru or climb upside down in seat and reach up thru maze of stuff and wrench it as someone else holds jet. Not easy.

All

Many thanks for the responses and encouragement!!

I don't think the length is long enough to reach the middle of the dash so will look in the engine bay.

Hopefully I won't need to access the void behind dash...

Thanks again and I will let you know when I have looked again.

All the best

Neil

What you really need is a very technically skilled 5 year old child with skinny arms.

I assume we are talking about an E-Type. What year?
I can tell you that on a S1 4.2 E-Type you cannot access it from the engine bay. Frankly I didn't think that you could access it from below the dash either. The only way I know of to reach the windshield washer jets is through the access hole behind the gauge panel.
Good luck and let us know how it turned out.
Bill.
