Windscreen Washer - Adjustment? - FIXED
Howdy,
Are there any provisions to adjust the aim of the windscreen washer jets?
On mine, the drivers side aim is OK, but the passenger-side jet hits the windscreen about 2-3" down from top (with most of the fluid - going over the roof)
all help to cure this - much appreciated

washer spray head
I don't think there is a adjustment as they are solid to the hood (bonnet), could be possible that the sheet metal on that side is distorted a fraction. At that distance only a slight degree could throw the trajectory off and at road speed the air travel will do the rest. Also blow out that side with low air pressure, could possibly have a orifice that is partly plugged. I have seen orifices that are plugged spray 45 degrees. could have picked up debris from the reservoir.

Hi Billbjork,
OK...I had a close look at the offending passenger-side Screen Washer Jet
What I found is there are two nozzles in each of Washer Heads. Taking a small safety-pin and inserting the point into each nozzle I discovered (to my pleasure) that each nozzle fits into the head via a ball-joint... and so, the nozzle(s) can be infinitely adjusted for both vertical and horizontal trajectory.
Therefore, after a little re-aiming - the problem is now solved and fixed !
Maybe this post should go into the section; "I didn't know my X-Type did that"
Cheers,
Larry
