The most common area for binding is where the throttle linkage rotates past the frame member(between the two carbs). If your rubber engine mounts have broken down, they will allow the engine to settle a few millimeters... just enough to cause interference at the frame. Check there first, if it is binding, a quick fix is to carefully jack up the engine to allow sliding a couple large washers as shims under the engine mount on the carb side. Grind an opening slot in the washer so it can slip in under the mount. Of course replacing with new upgraded mounts is the permanent fix.
Other linkage issues may be more challenging.

Willow, Its GTJOEY, there IS A CENTER LINKAGE WHICH DROPS DOWN BETWEEN THE TWO STROMBERGS,
Make sure the clips are locked onto the rods and completely locked in.
You said its binding. Make sure the butterfly linkage is free and not rubbing inot the heater hoses or anything else.
You changed the engine mounts, did you adjust the rear stabilizer mount?
The series two set up is very cumbersome, check where the shaft from the fire wall to the carbs is locked in correctly.
You did put back the return springs right?
Ahhhhhh triple su's.
