Speedometer works-odometer doesn't. Is there something mechanical i can repair inside? This is a series 2 car-so it has an electronic tach right? I checked all connections. Is there anything else to check? XKs unlimited wants $290 to rebuild it...

 

Look at some ads in older car mags, the odo needs looked at and tach might just need cleaning. There are quite a few places that do this work. Hemmings has a lot of ads. Take picture of units before sending and log serial #s.
