I've never been happy with the sunvisor my Series E-type. They're made of thin vinyl over formless foam precariously suspended between two equally precarious pins. When the top is up and visors are down there is no upward visibility for traffic lights, when the top is down and visors are up, they equally block traffic lights. I made these for my car.


I think they are pretty slick. They deal with the sun nicely but don't interfere with vision. The plastic bit is the same acrylic used in aircraft Sunvisor Systems, the support rod is anodized aluminum and the end brackets are chrome plated brass. It attaches to the same points as the original visor.
Mine is a 1974 Series 3, I suppose it could also be adapted to a Series 2, I don't think there is anything that will serve as an attach point on the Series 1. If there is any interest I could put it into production. Is there interest?

I could use a replacement too. 50 yo foam bulging everywhere.
