Can't speak decisively for later series, but generally, yes. I know this because here in Oz, the Jaguar fitted CWWs were specifically banned from racing . . . too many stress fracture breakages of chromed spokes . . . so racers were fitted with either fully rebuilt stainless steel steel spokes, or with steel or minilite alloys, both having knock off splined centres and both UK imported.

Others may have up to date info, but why do you ask?

Solid steel wheels were an option on the Series 2 E-Type. Just follow the parts in the Parts catalog. It is very clear as to the requirements.
