Default torque settings

I'm getting ready to install my front rotors and callipers this weekend and I'm wondering what the torque settings are for the calliper bolts and the rotor/hub bolts. I read somewhere it might be 65 ft/lbs for both and then heard that they each might be different. Any ideas?

Hi Alfred,
Rotor to Hub should be in the range 30 to 36 ft. lbs, Brake Caliper to Vertical Link in the range 50 to 60 ft. lbs.

Regards,

Bill

Well, good news, Lily is back on the road. New front brakes, reconditioned rotors and no more brake squeaks. They were half seized and heating up quite a bit. So far the running temp is also better (190 - 200F) than last week when she was running 210-215. The weather is cooler today, so my optimism is guarded... I may still need a new rad core.

Well the rad broke today. After only 5 minutes of driving the car suddenly got hot, so I pulled over and turned it off. All the rad fluid was pouring out of the front of the rad. I tried adding some water I got from a house nearby and as I poured it into the rad it all leaked out and onto the road. We called CAA and got home an hour later. Just another issue on a car not driven much for 6 years.
I saw that Wizard Cooling in New York State makes E-type rads... anybody ever deal with them?
Alfred
