Two years ago I bought a brand new Jaguar F-Pace R Sport (240 HP) and everything was perfect until a few months ago. Some months ago I brought the car to the concessionaire in order for they to check everything was ok. To my surprise they told me the car had a problem with the counter-rotating of the engine and these needed to be fixed urgently. My car was with the guarantee and surprisingly they told me that Jaguar did not take charge of it and I had to pay it for myself. As I said, my car has 2 years and only 38.000 km. I've also spoken with some mechanics and they all agree that this problem starts to appear at the 300.000 km.

I would like to know if anyone has or has had the same problem in order to speak with him/her if possible. If anyone could recommend me what to do I'd appreciate it too.

Anything mechanically wrong with a two year old car should be covered by the manufacturers warranty as long as the car was serviced at the proper time according to their requirements. Is there another Jaguar dealer in or near Barcelona that you can take it to for a second opinion?
