Heh guys

Any clue how much the F-Pace will sell for in Australia, or is it too soon to know?

Just a ball park figure. I know the F-Type here in Oz was asking big dollars!

No idea, i've been struggling to get the prices on the XE here...

If I had to guess somewhere in the middle between the Range Rover Evoque and Sport models...

Oh heh Cambo!

Mate what are they going for?

I may have found a way in for my Mrs to enter the Jaguar world. Not my cup of tea though.

I don't think you'll get into one for under $100k here

Will F-Pace compete with X3 or X5, GLK or M-Class? Their prices should provide a guide.

Wow. X5 going for $185,900 - $194,700 ?

So the F-Pace won't be that much cheaper than the F-Type then?

LOL, ok then...

I don't think the Face will be a direct competitor to the X5, that's Range Rover / Range Rover Sport territory.

Face will be more an X1 or maybe X3 competitor. Don't forget that the X1 is based on the 3-series chassis, the X3 is based on the 5-series chassis, so despite the number, they are big units.

Also without a V8 option in the Face (it'll be 2.0L fours and the 3.0L S/C V6, if you look at the XE lineup) it's not going to be in the same performance bracket as the X5 anyhow.

wheww....my dreams of getting the Mrs to buy a Jaguar were almost smashed.

So back to the original assumption of somewhere near $100k?

2009 Land Rover Freelander 2 Si6 SE 10MY Sports Automatic

Paul, you could always buy this Freelander and mount that leaper on it left over from your XJS.
Some cheap Jaguar badges off ebay and all done. Keeping 80k in the bank for a rainy day.
