Mileage Display
Welcome to the forums CNO9,
Odometer display has been a feature on Jaguars since the introduction of digital IP's (Instrument Packs). It is possible to temporarily remove it from view on some models such as my XK by selecting another menu information display.
Usually there are only two reason not to want the odometer display:
1. fraud
2. vanity
To combat increasing problems with the first where attempts are made to reduce the total elapsed distance for warranty claim purposes, the true reading is locked in the vehicle ECM and unchangeable with dealer level diagnostics.

I didn't ask for your opinion why on why people don't want the mileage on the screen, but you are incorrect on why I'm asking if it just doesn't have to be shown on the drive assist screen. No need to have a great-looking screen and then a group of numbers underneath that I don't need to look at the whole time.

BTW, you come here, and your second post, you start insulting people????

CN09,
Given your attitude, I really shouldn't be bothered to answer your question but;
1. Press the silver button on the end of the left (lights) stalk. You can then cycle through various mileage/trip/mpg displays...One of which is a blank data display.
2. Read your manual.

RTFM of course
Do you think he will come back asking to permanently code on his DRLs and fog lights at night 'cause its cool?
The person that asked that on another forum got the same sort of response, so this forum is spot on if you ask me...

And BTW, it's "you're", not "tour". (Proof reading is a good idea)
