Default My New (to me) BRG F-Pace SVR

I test drove an SVR F-pace one weekend in May just out of curiosity. After a few seconds sitting inside the vehicle, seeing the layout, feeling the build quality, and experienced the new head unit and its operating system, I knew I would like it a whole lot. After a few pulls in dynamics with the manual shift paddles, I was sold.

I spent about two weeks looking for a BRG vehicle before stumbling across this matte version out in CO. The previous owner put 2,300 miles on it and it still looks and smells like new. It also has PPF on the front portion of the body. I had some hesitation about having another matte paint in the fleet, especially as a daily driver, but in the end was worn over by how special it is and how beautiful it looks.

Today was the first non-rainy day here in VA since I received the vehicle. It still quite dusty and in needs of a bath, but I wanted grab some photos before the sun goes away again.

Love it! Looks terrific. The satin BRG is factory paint or a wrap?

Thanks! It's factory matte paint. Apparently it was quite expensive SVO option when new ($7500).

That F-Pace my friend is a good conversation piece and I'll be the first one to say "Love the way how it looks"

Fabulous colour, congratulations. Mine Is black Santorini. With no doubt I can say my new 2023 F Pace SVR is the best Jaguar I owned

Agreed. I can say that it drives better than any of the f-types I've ever owned. That included the SVR. The steering, suspension set up, and gear box makes it such a satisfy and addictive vehicle to drive.

How is the exhaust / engine sound? Mine seems very muted compared to my old 2010 XF supercharged (with Mina exhaust) which I traded for it, and compared to my 2017 F-Type SVR. I don't get any crackles or bangs, no lift off rumble. It makes a nice snort on upshifts when accelerating hard in dynamic mode, but that's about it
Any dynamic / active exhaust / sport combo that brings out more noise?

Is there a Fuse like I have in my 2022 F-Type R, that opens up the exhaust valve on the F-Pace? It's #15, as I recall, on my F-Type.

BritCars: When weather allows it, open all windows, particularly the rear ones, and sun roof while you drive in Dynamic mode. You will hear all the pops and crackles. It won't be as much as the f type 17' SVR, but much more noticeable than with the windows up.

Cost more than $7K on my 2024 but it's glossy clear coated not matte. I have same interior as you too.

I don't want to hijack the thread but here's a pic of
My New (to everyone including myself) BRG F-Pace SVR:

That's my Emerald Green Mercedes EQE 500 SUV electric daily driver behind it. BRG is a bit lighter. They're both more metallic than they look in pics. Just can't seem to capture that for some reason.

Nice! BRG is like a chameleon. It looks so different in different light. Sometimes almost black. Sometimes quite green

Super nice!! I like how unique my matte paint is but wish the tone is bright like yours SVR. I love that green!

You know, that's a good word to describe my feelings so far. It doesn't have to make sense to anyone else and beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I'm already willing to put up with more dookie out of this one than I would take from most other cars. This vehicle has a personality and I like its style.

I've officially lost my mind. I'm now sporting a very stylish British Racing Green hat. I need to stay away from tequila for a while or I might wake up with a Jaguar tattoo across my back with absolutely no recollection of how it got there...
