Default What leadtime are you getting for new orders?

For those who have ordered, what leadtime/delivery are you getting?
<BR>
I've heard cars begin to arrive in April/May, newly placed orders for May, or June, or July. I know it's a bit tricky, given NOTHING has arrived yet and dealers vary in size and allocation. Some of the variation might be where the dealer can match/modify existing orders, but I get a definite sense they're being more hopeful than confident on delivery.

I've go to tell you this is not the chattiest forum on the net. A lot of lookers not that many responders.

I ordered mine at the end of Feb. and mine is expected the beginning of June.

Just got our order on the books. Estimated completion date 6/10 for delivery in July. That was a little quicker than i expected. Word from the dealer is that some dates are moving IN.

("S", Rhodium, Black/Red Seats, Light Oyster Headlining, Tech Pack, Driver Assist Pack, Roof Rails)

Side note: He confirmed that the roof rails need to be factory installed.

Just picked this up, as new to "not the forum", but the "F-Pace". I ordered mine yesterday (4_16_16), and was told that I could expect to see it sometime around August. Order is going in today as the dealer and I are confirming that we have it right, and I am not missing anything that I wanted. I suspect that this will increase with the next couple of weeks orders, in that I am hearing that the curiosity and subsequent interest expressed through orders is strong :-)! This is good, and although early yet, Jaguar apparently has another hit on it's hands, which compliments it's fleet. Demand could possibly strongly outpace supply in the short term, thus a push on orders vs. deliver. Just my hypothesis, but time will tell.

Just placed my order this week. Expected delivery Sept 7th. Looks like delivery is getting no longer. Just wait till the dealers actually have a car to show. My dealer is to receive his display next week. Orders will really pickup.

Default Picking up mine this weekend

I've been researching this car since September. I was originally told (back in September) that the cars would arrive in December 2015. When that didn't happen, I went to the San Diego auto show to see it in person and reserved one there in January. I was told a possible March 2016 delivery. Then it was pushed to April. And I just got the call this morning that my car is here at the dealer and I can pick it up on Friday (May 13). Since mine is the First Edition, the dealer said mine is the only one that arrived today (he said First Editions get top priority for builds/delivery). He said the other F-Paces he has reserved will be arriving in June/July. Hope that helps. Congrats on your new car! So exciting.

Lucky You!
I'll be expecting you are very busy this weekend giving rides to all interested in the F-Pace. Please post some pictures if you can. I understand that you should expect to spend over an hour learning the Info system.

Haha! Very true indeed. So many people want me to "swing by for lunch" tomorrow. And yes, that's what my dealer said as well, an hour "or so" to learn the info system. Apparently the First Edition has features he did not learn when he went to test drive the other models, so he will be learning along with me. So excited. Photos to come!

Yes - actually better. It's SO FAST - sport mode is insane. It does eat up the gas though - but such a thrilling fun ride. Will also say this, if you get the lighter colored leather interior - definitely get sealant put on. It easily soaks up colors from jeans and dirt. I'm having the exterior and interior sealed today.

What's the sealant you put on it? I have a 2010 XF SC with ivory leather. I've looked after it carefully and it still looks new - but interested if there is a good way to increase protection (maybe it was done to mine already). Wet jeans are apparently the worst...

Beautiful F Pace!

You're very lucky. I've only had mine since Friday - and it had a hint of "blue" from just the people at the dealer getting in and out of it - so I had them clean it and put the sealant on today. It's called "CilaJet". If you look it up online - you'll see videos of the way it protects the outside paint/shine - and the interior. It also protects the rims from brake dust, etc.
