After much consideration I decided to go with Stuart and Velocity AP. I've had the tune now since late April and am very satisfied. I removed the ECM per the instructions Stuart provided (thankfully), and sent the unit off to Velocity AP in British Columbia (of course, shortly afterward Stuart announced the introduction of the hand held tuning unit!). Anyway, a very quick turnaround time, and replacement was the reverse of removal, all plug and play. Vehicle started right up, no codes, idles very smoothly around 650 RPM,drives great, and seems better and faster than before the remap. Stuart was very patient and answered all of my questions and addressed all of the concerns I had.
So I managed to finally get to a dyno (Race Proven Motorsports, New Castle DE) Tuesday and I've attached the results. I asked them to run the test in Dynamic mode, but I think I heard the guy say that the DIC showed the mode was unavailable for some reason, and I wasn't quick enough to ask him to open the exhaust, oh well....They do mostly GM vehicles there and I don't think he was familiar with the F Type at all. Anyway, I am quite satisfied with the results, tune only, but I wish now I would have gotten a baseline when the vehicle was still stock.
Thanks Stuart!
Charlie
If you want an apples to apples comparison, see if you can find a Dynapack. The numbers coming off those dynos are consistent with the manufacturer's numbers. You can use a Mustang dyno as well, but they will read 10-15% lower than they should. The Dynojets are inertial dynos rather than load bearing and aren't even consistent from one Dynojet to another.
