For those who have a 2016 Type R with the body colored rear diffuser, how flush is it to the rest of the rear bumper? Do any of your clips not appear to be fastened completely?
I'll try and take a pic tomorrow with better light, but my farthest right clip (when looking at the rear of the car) is not inserted completely. I got under the car to see if I could push it in further, but no go. As a result, I'm left with a tiny gap which now my eye goes to right away and annoys me! And my car is white, so it looks even more noticeable. My dealer isn't exactly close and I'd rather avoid going if someone else has experienced this and can recommend how to man handle the diffuser without breaking it
My left side has a tiny gap I noticed when waxing yesterday.

Enough of a gap that it bothers you to schedule an appt with the dealer?
I also would have liked for my front right winglet (for lack of a better term) to be more flush with the front bumper. It's as if they didn't use enough double sided tape between the screw points.
No, I am not going to take it to a dealer. You cannot see it while standing. You must get down on the ground close to it to see it. I might mention it at the 1 year service.

I picked up my new F-Type R this past weekend, and I noticed that the rear diffuser is not fully in on the left side. It moves in and out easily and looks as if the clips are not connected - not what you'd expect for this price At least it didn't fall off..
I'm taking it for a service appointment on Monday to fix it and other issues.

Thank you for posting. Mine is nowhere near as bad as yours, but perhaps over time/vibrations, it could get to that point, and then the dealer will blame me! Please keep us posted on what the dealer does to remedy your situation on Monday.
I'll add my pics shortly if I can capture the suspected area. I'm also thinking, once the weather warms up, along with the diffuser, I may be able to work it back in myself--again mine isn't as significant as yours
