Default 2018 Fall Foliage Fete

Had an amazing weekend with the F-Type crew in Maine on the final "going out with a bang" event before the long hibernation. Jay once again put together the outstanding itinerary with a little something for everyone. Amazing FOOD, great locations, solid culture, and a lot of warm hospitality. Sorry if some of the pictures are not F-type pictures but its all part of the epic weekend as a whole. looking forward to the next "non-event" and to be re-united with the F-Type friends. I can not thank everyone enough, especially Jay for his hard work planning and pulling all the strings to make these experiences as special as they are. Maine is a beautiful place.

Nice work, Josh! Indeed, a good time was had by all. Hope to get my pictures organized tonight. If any of you in the continental US heard a crackling sound in the distance this weekend, it was Josh's exhaust.

Sunday was in the low 40s, but I had the top down all day Saturday. That doesn't automatically mean it was warm, but it did get up to the low 60s. Gorgeous weekend.

Wonderful following your journey in pictures! Besides the great cars, fun stops and engaging smiles, a couple of things caught my attention...

I can't imagine how you accomplished getting so many parking spaces together on the street and in front of the Moody's.

The sound of all of your cars leaving the gas station together must have been thrilling!!!

Thank you for posting this, started my day off with an appreciation for the life we are fortunate enough to enjoy! Cheers!!!

Correction: Maine has "a" magician or better yet "the" magician. He controls the weather too.

Note the photo of the "majician" with our friend in blue! Wonderful hospitality across the board in Maine.

Josh managed to scare the pants of a guy who was pumping gas while we were there when he started his car. Guy must have left three feet off the ground and soiled his pants. Look on his face was priceless.

Also folks go to, tell people about and cherish the Owls Head Transportation Museum just south of Rockland, ME, as its a national treasure that needs to be seen and supported.
