Default 2018 Jaguar F Type 400S AWD Tune

Hey F-Type Fam,

Recently upgraded the Crank and Super Charger Pulley, and installed the Mina Gallery Intake. I took my F Type to a Jag/Porsche specialty tuning shop. After a day or two on the Dyno, they gave me a call that the car is not performing as expected, but that the tune was successful and all the curve's/numbers look good. They performed a leak down test to rule out any obvious loss of power but could not find any "smoking gun". Anyone run into this situation before, I feel the power gain from the upgrades are much lower than I have seen discussed during my research. Specifically the Torque.

Tune Results: Wheel
Base - 323HP/340 Torque
Tune -371HP/344 Torque.

You might want to remove the Mina Gallery intake & retest the car.

Agree the above: Factory intake is made with taking in count of shockwave pulses (eliminating them) when Mina Gallery is more sound / noise orientated.
Shockwave pulses slow down the incoming air, basicly you engine is not breating well.

Bypass valve stuck open or cracked. Or they left the torque limiters stock because they're scared of the transmission. That torque number is what a stock car makes with just an intake. Something is bleeding boost or holding back throttle.

Hmm seems a bit odd to me:

1) I don't know the V6 tune numbers, but if you take the 15% loss ballpark number, it puts the base tune at around 370hp which sounds right. 371 hp at the wheels * 1.15 = 427 crank HP, I'd say that's pretty darned good.

2) Did they state exactly what they were seeing that wasn't up to par?

3) What do the logs say? Is timing being pulled? Have they monitored boost for oscillation (belt slippage)? What are intake temps and are they worse than before the Mina intake, do they get a lot worse on successive runs, and is timing being pulled as a result? What does fueling look like? Do we have signs of intermittent misfires?

That's where I'd start if it were my car.

Yep I would want to know boost pressures and timing, will tell you why it can't make more torque.

There could be a number of reasons. Belt slippage (although not sure what pulley's you have installed, so might be unlikely), poor fuel, poorly calibrated, heat soak/boost leak from intake. I am sure we could help in this situation, but not sure what/how the car was previously tuned.
