My next one....aka a second one!....will likely be an ultra blue coupe! Would make a nice match to my white/red V8S vert

 

A dealer told me on the phone today that Ultra Blue will be available for MY 2018! He's supposedly going to send me an option list . . .

 

I pick up my Ultra Blue R Dynamic coupe tomorrow! It was ordered way back in January, so it has been a long wait. I'll post pictures as soon as possible.

WOW! Looks awesome. Please post WAY more pics. Including the interior. I just placed an order for a 2018 R-Dynamic MT as well (in Toronto). Curious to see the interior (the new seats) and the infotainment system too.

Hey Kent, which center console finish did you get: delta aluminum, knurled aluminum, or carbon fiber? Would love to see the interior pics.

 

I've been without a Jaguar for a bit over 8 months now but I find myself looking at them everyday, I really want the F-Type but I'm holding out in hopes that they give it the rumored Ingenium I6(has anyone heard anything recently?). At least the build and price for the 2018 is finally up in the US, I know I'd be perfectly content with the supercharged V6 and the stick, but I'd like the I6 to go along with my dad's '65 E-Type roadster.

 

I don't understand why there isn't a rush to Canada to buy the F-type. The R-Dynamic Manual that I just ordered has a Canadian base price of $90k Canadian (or $67.5k USD based on a 25% exchange rate) but on the US site the same model is $82k USD.

Either we Canadians are getting an awesome deal or the US is getting ripped off.

 

If you think US buyers might be getting ripped off, how about us poor Aussies!
The 2018 models are just out on the Oz configurator as well, and the price of an absolute stripper F-Type R-Dynamic manual coupe is $175,436 AU, and the AU $ and CAN $ are right now at virtual parity.

 

It looks like Jaguar is copying the Porsche model for options as everything that was in a package in my 2016 is now an option, purchased separately. Strangely, when I add up what I would buy, the car costs less than my 2016!
Doesn't matter, I really do not like any of the colors for 2018. Maybe BRG. But if I am in the market again it would be for 2019, off the lot or 2020 order.
