Default About jaguar f type steering wheel swap to f pace steering wheel problem

The f-type and f-pace steering wheels are different from The bottom. Are there any solutions that can fix it?

Where did you get the steering wheel?
Can be machined to fit? Drilled out?

Someone tell me that I might have to change my F-type steering column to an F-pace steering column, but I don't know if it is going to work or not

I doubt that the electronics/controls will work and the wiring plugs look completely different.

wouldn't it be easier to just get a replacement steering column for the f-type. if you have to replace it for what ever reason why put one in from a f-pace ???and then have to cobble it together. Makes no sense at all

Is the problem the steering shaft shape? Hex vs. Round?

I don't have a concept of how these things are made (probably cast aluminum), or what specific alloy they are made from. However, it seems that a mechanical adapter could be fabricated. And a little machine work performed. Maybe cut out a 2 inch hole and bolt in an adapter?

I am guessing you don't like the look of the F-Type's wheel and wanted something different?

That looks like an aftermarket wheel on the left, integrated shift lights and some sort of LCD display.
