Default Active Exhaust Question

My F-Type does not have the switchable active exhaust feature and I'm wondering if there is a way to force the "always on" setting.
On my 2015 Ghibli it was easy to plug the vacuum going to the exhaust gates and block the tube leading to the dash pot. The result was an "always on" state of enhanced exhaust sound. The only down side to doing this was a drone in regular drive or ICE modes that may annoy some (but not me ).
I haven't crawled up under the car yet or had it on a lift so I don't know how the exhaust system is configured; it's only four weeks in my possession and has less than 500 miles on it.
Any suggestions or comments are welcome.

Yes, just disconnect the tubing and plug both the hose and the valves.

What year / model is it? Might be as easy as pulling a fuse.

With only 500 miles on it, I suspect not.

Thanks, Unhingd, I'll give it a go first chance I get. I don't mind having it as a permanent thing, and the heck with the neighbors--if they don't complain about the guy who works on his NASCAR racer in his garage, they won't mind my little noise maker.

Hi folks,
Anyone knows where the vacuum valve restrictor switch of the active exhaust actuators is located on a 2018 v6s F-type.
My F is not equipped with the active exhaust switch which can, according the dealer, not be retrofited as from 2018 m/y.
Cheers
MrRay

Historically, it's been behind the left rear wheel well. Don't know if thats still where it is.

This shows where it was for a '14, back when it had an electric vacuum pump, which is no longer used...

I mis the active exhaust button on my m/y 2018 F-type S, was installed on my previous m/y 2014.
The active exhaust only engages when driving with illegal speeds, even with the dynamic mode selected the exhaust valves stay closed on the 2018.
This is very frustrating, I would like to retrofit the button. My dealer tried it but it didn’t work.

With the VAP quad exhaust, I always leave the valves closed, otherwise it’s far too loud. As it is, the valves automatically open over 4000 RPM. You can have my switch.

Why thanks, Unhingd, that's mighty generous of you; but as soon as I feel like crawling under her beautiful rear, I'm going to have a look see about plugging the vacuum lines. As for too loud, I guess that in the ear's of the listener. I have straight pipes on my Harley and don't have any desire to decrease the decibels--even given some thought about adding electronic enhancement.
On another subject, in case you haven't noticed, I did succeed in getting my username changed; but it was by Jim, not the name you gave me. But thanks for the assistance.

Decided I may never feel better so I crawled under her beautiful rear end and took care of the exhaust gate vacuum lines. It was much easier than on my 2015 Ghibli--only took about five minutes,. My relatively short test drive did not seem that much different in exhaust notes than before, but I'll try again later.
