After the flood the car won't start
A small update after a long time.
The car still doesn't run, nothing has been done. It's been 7 months now. The car has been parked outside the whole time and the Jaguar dealer even left the windows ajar the whole time, so the interior has soaked up moisture again!!!! 2 months ago I decided to have the car towed to an unauthorized service, where they promised miracles. They also didn't do anything except pull out the unit, replace the battery and dry the interior with a dehumidifier..
Although I still own the car, I gave it up and it will be sold. Either repaired for a higher price, or unrepaired for a lower price. The car service itself is offering it for sale, not yet binding.
I don't like it anymore, so I decided to invest and bought a BMW M850i. It's a completely different car and the engine has incomparably more power, so I'm actually happy in the end, but I still regret it and after that investment I'm looking forward to at least a partial refund from the sale of the Jaguar.
If I still have to have it repaired as the owner (maybe in 50 years...), I will let you know what caused it.
However, Jaguar's service support in the Czech Republic is a complete disaster, which was one of the reasons why I preferred to leave Jaguar..
