Default Air bleed hose connection to coolant expansion tank

I need to replace an air bleed hose connector on my 2015 F-Type R. I’ve got a crack in the existing one with a temporary fix (silicon), but I’d rather just have a more permanent fix.

Where are folks buying their coolant hoses these days in July 2024? I’ve found other threads, but the links are sometimes outdated.

hey man. People usually buy the euro amp coolant system. It’s for the v8 and v6 models. I believe it comes with that part that’s upgraded but don’t quote me. I bought the kit and had the whole coolant system replaced and upgraded with aluminum parts so I never have to worry about it again. It also comes with the supercharger coupler which usually fails too. Great kit, I bought the v3 kit because it comes with everything you need.

Went to Euro AMP’s website and searched their kits for cooling systems for Jaguars. I’ve already got the metal cooling pipes installed on my engine.

This part doesn’t come with that kit though

It’s $35 on jaguarparts.com, but they want $78 for shipping, so I just bought it at my local JLR dealership parts department for $80 total (they had it in stock).

I found that part on ebay from different sellers claiming that they were brand new. Is that where most people get their parts these days?

^^^ Correct, that tube doesn't come with the Euro AMP kit.

My mechanic suggested replacing it. I agreed. (I think he got it direct from JLR)
