Default Annoying cabin Vibration

Hey Guys,

Ive been experiencing lately unbearable cabin vibration when the car is at idle RPM below 2k, The dealership said that nothing is wrong with the car....
what can be the cause of this? any clues or has someone experienced it before?

Thanks.

I drive a 2015 F Type V6 S coupe

Does it feel like a rough engine idle?

I almost mentioned the fan, but figured it was unlikely to be as RPM dependent as the engine. Oh well, thanks for the follow-up.

BTW, does anyone’s fan run on after the engine is shut down when hot? On my F-Type it does not. It does on our other cars with electric fan.

My XJ does not keep the fan on either. I presume the effect would only be modest without an electric water pump to match anyway.

A post-shutdown fan operation could still cool down the engine bay until the appropriate water temp is reached. On my MINI, that takes about 2 minutes on a hot day.

None of my Jags have had fan run-on after switch-off, despite the engine bay getting very er, warm. That's x100 4.0 XK8, x100 4.2 XKR, x150 5.0 XKR and my MY18 F-Type R AWD. IME it's mostly German cars that do this, maybe they can't work out how to stop it!

We used to reflash the XF as well as XJ's for a heat soak issue with 4.2 liter engine. The reflash would have the fan stay running after the cars were shut off. When we first started people thought the cars were overheating. I had one customer ask to have the old software reinstalled as the fan was so loud.

Oops, forgot about that... It's x351 Jaguar 5.0 S/C 2010 model with 100000kms on the clock/62000miles.

The vibration started recently.

Thank you.

Tim

Did anyone ever get to the bottom of this guys? Mines doing the exact same thing.
I have a 2011 xfr 5.0 on 63,000. It pulls like a train but it has this annoying vibration at idle.
I've just had a full service, new plugs, waterpump, supercharger refurb, engine mount. No codes, just this silly vibration 🤔
