Another 2016 Review
I'm hoping that by the time I need them the 305's will be available.
As for the 265's, according to the PSS specifications, they support 9" wheels as their minimum spec, so in theory they should fit without stretching or pinching. I guess I'll need to validate that, since that was my go-to plan. If they don't fit properly, I'll stick with the 255's up front. But that will mean also sticking with the 295's out back to avoid the size differential issue.

Matching 305s with the 255s should be no problem since the 295 has a slightly smaller diameter than the 255 and the 305 diameter is slightly larger than that of the 255. That's how I would have gone if the 305s were available. Though , if Michelin has ok'd the 265 for a 9" rim, I would trust them. They would know their own tire better than anyone. I was basing my original concern off the generic fitment charts.
Good point. Not an issue on my RWD.
New review on the MT V6S.
I'm always amused by Rory Reid's reviews, particularly his F-Type reviews. He's pretty much reviewed every variant at this point, so if you haven't seen his earlier reviews, you should take a look.

I would say he sorta gets it. I am guessing (as I did when I decided to buy it) that this may be the last great manual sports car of its genre (not taking about track rockets). It seems below a certain age, folks are not inclined to enjoy the activity of being fully engaged in the drive. Just steering and throttle, perhaps with a free hand to operate a phone or texting.
I find my F-Type consumes me when I drive. I don't even want to fool with the infotainment system. It's just a distraction from the pure mechanical joy of operating a real car.

+1. Now...if I could just get mine out of the shop.
