Talking another Cat on the streets

Hey everyone

Just wanted to say hi as the new guy... wrote a few posts already, but only picked up my 2016 Storm Grey (with Brogue interior) F-Type S last Thursday

Still in awe of the stunning looks and beautiful interior, coming from a 2003 BMW 330Ci I've owned for over 12 years... also got to get used to driving such a posh and quite rare sportscar on the roads of Switzerland!

Attached two quick pics from the pick up...

Cheers
Lyndon

Spectacular!

Love the wheels... for the life of me, I cannot figure out why Jaguar will not sell the Turbines in the States anymore. Would have gotten those on my 16', but alas...

Well - trust me, Lyndon - you will be smiling a lot now...

Welcome to the club!

Welcome, Lyndon. Looks beautiful. I, as well am a tad jealous of the Turbines. Enjoy all the positives that come with owning such a fine piece of automotive art.

Nice... and welcome! It's interesting you have the AWD side skirts on your RWD. Looks great.

I think it'a a 2015 (or prior) vs 2016, not RWD versus AWD that determines the skirts.

Just beautiful. Those turbines are nice. Would love to see them in black as well. Welcome and you have permission to begin giggling like a schoolboy as you drive it! It's not optional :-)

Default Another cat in Switzerland

Congrats! I am driving my cat in Switzerland since January and once in a while I meet another one on the road. Most of the times a cabriolet however. Anyway, there are many Swiss mountain roads which are paradise for our cars.

Cheers

Here is my cat in case we meet on the streets in Switzerland.

I had the rims powder coated in black...

I know a beast lives under the hood, but it looks like there are tentacles reaching out.

You are 100% correct... Tentacles or scratches from killing the license plate information on the photo... Cheers

Thank you for the warm welcome, nice words and thanks!
I am indeed often giggling like a small school boy

Wasn't really into almost any of the F-Type wheels. For me the Turbines were the next best to the Gyrodine and Storm, which weren't available as a factory order in my configuration. But I'll probably be going for some aftermarket rims next spring...

Actually, these come with the Sport Design Package together with the rear apron!
