His involvement in dealing with JLR was minimal since JLR really didn't even question the buyback once they saw the service history. He did help in getting me into a replacement though. We found a car that was close but not quite what I wanted at another dealer and he offered to modify the car to the specs I wanted (at no cost to me) rather than wait for another custom order. Since it took 3 months to go through the buyback process, rather than be stuck in a loaner XF for the entire time, they let me drive the replacement car (registered as a dealer demo) until the paperwork was finalized on the buyback. In the end, I paid less for the 2016 than the 2015 even though the sticker on the 2016 AWD was more.
