I have been shouted at about the "nice" car almost daily in the last week or so. Many times it's multiple people within blocks. There is a f type vert in town, but not seen much.

 

I get a lot of thumbs up at traffic lights...and that always brings a grin to my face.

 

I was at a client's office this past week and let the VP take her for a spin around the block. He looked over at me and with a straight face informed me he needed to borrow my F-Type for a little while and take his wife for a ride. I went to question why, and he informed me, since I was sitting in the passenger seat, I would be sitting in a wet spot if he had taken her for a ride first...

 

That one time I was sitting parked in the car and a homeless guy that was walking across the front gave me that European fingers-kiss gesture.

The other day my husband and I went out to dinner. Left the car with the valet and walked in. The hostess saw the car, but didn't see who got out of the driver's seat, because she looked at my husband and said, "Love your car, Sir!" I shook my head and said, "Sweetheart, it's not the 1950s, that thing is MINE."

 

Is it me, or does a black f-type not attract as much attention as the others? (Not sure which way I prefer it tbh).

black jag doesnt draw as much attention for sure. my car has been getting a lot more responses and head turns since i got it wrapped voodoo blue. the black was nice but i feel the f type looks best in a color that shows off all its details.

 

Pure black still draws attention but yes adding some color to the cart makes it a lot more noticeable.
