On closer inspection, the only similarity between these two documents is the road pictures in the front of the brochure as well as the cover pics. The 19MY brochure is issued by Jauar.co.uk in English and the 2018 brochure is published by Jaguarusa.com in Merican.

10/30/2017 I gave my dealer a deposit for a 2018 F-Type coupe.

11/30/2017 I had emailed a question to him. He replied that Jaguar was no long making 2018's and were, instead, making 2019's. But he was not able to access the Jaguar ordering system to change my order to a 2019.

03/02/2018 my dealer FINALLY was able to submit an order for a 2019 F-Type coupe..

I'm so f'ing happy right now, after falling in love with this car during it's debut, battling with the wife on getting a 2 seat roadster having 3 young kids, I'm finally getting an F Type. Thanks everyone for all the years of support, I feel like I already know this car inside out, thanks to everyone on the forum, sharing there experiences. I already know which VAP exhaust I want, Wortec roters (sun cut baby), yes I do consider her exotic, etc etc...

I'm so psyched right now, I'm gonna go run outside.

I thought I was the only one on this forum who had been obsessed with the F Type for 3 years and still had not bought one... so there are two of us after all. My dealer has my credit card on file and has promised an allocation this month... will definitely call him tomorrow and let him know you got one already. Hope to make a similar post this week!

Haha, very hard to keep the cloths on at the moment. I got the car from Jaguar of Sacramento after Jaguar of Stevens Creek couldn't get me an allocation within a timely manner.

 

Thanks for the info. You had to range far and literally drive past two other dealerships, not counting Stevens Creek, to get there. Jaguar abruptly halting MY18 production, briefly taking orders for MY19 then stopping and just now, apparently, beginning to accept orders for MY19.5, here is the USA - they do not make this an easy proposition. I'd prefer to stay a little closer to home so will sit tight for a bit. But I've got the itch. If I have to go to Sacramento to get it scratched so be it!

Expected Build Date 4/20/18, actual build 4/19/18

Got the VIN 4/26, still waiting for information to appear on Wallenius website.

Expected delivery date was 5/4/18, per dealer should get there sometime the week after.

Now I just need the JCNA discount to apply to MY19.
