Default Back to an F-Type??

O.K. So I sold my 2017 F-Type to order a C8 Corvette. 6 months later, I decided that the C8 was a bit too common. Looking at a Lexus LC 500 and now looking back at the F-Type convertible(previous was a coupe). Ideally I would like a 2021 V6 but see a lot of turbo inline 4 cylinders. Anyone have a 4 banger who can say 'yay or nay'?? Not looking for lightning speed(where you gonna do 170mph except a track, been there done that). I just want a good looking, not too common(C8) car, that is a pleasure to drive.
Can I get some ideas from any 4 banger, owners?

While not an owner, I've driven one for a week or so. If ALL you care about is looks, you don't have to worry about what's under the hood. But, I was glad to get back into the V6. The bit of menace goes with the look, and the 4-banger just didn't have it. I'm not in any danger of hitting the top end, either, but being able to punch it now and then is part of the fun, and the exhaust tones are a key piece of the true F-Type experience.

(And, remember who said you'd be baaaack.)

I can speak for the engine (which we have in our XE), not the car. I reckon it is a ripper. The power delivery is very similar to the 5.0NA engine from the XF or XJ if you have driven them. No lag, just piles it on, feels faster than the stats would say, I actually thought it would be quicker than the base 6 but it isnt.

Not much theater from the soundtrack, but I've been on a track in one and it was a lot of fun, maybe you have to be a better driver to get the flavour from the beans. Personally if I had lost my car for whatever reason and was looking to get back into an f type, I'd look at a current shape in the 4 potter, with black pack. But then I have the Mustang for when I want a noisy manual, I'm not sure whether the answer would be the same if it was my only car.

Good info from both. Will definitely drive anything before I buy. Still have to see what is available. That will be deciding factor.
