If it's a coupe, the battery is located in the left side of the trunk - remove the cubby cover and you'll see the battery compartment cover on the left with a little tag to help you lift it out.

Yes, it's a coupe.
Thank you!
Straight forward procedure.
Cheers

Just remember not to close the trunk while the battery is disconnected! A bit of old cloth/carpet over the latch will save you from any mishaps.

Also remember to connect the vent tube to the new battery and if the new battery has a vent hole on both ends to plug the other unused vent hole.

What is the smallest AGM battery that one can use? (I am interested in weight savings and the Anti Gravity battery and my car did not like each other...)

If a 30 lb battery would work ....it is not a li battery but still 30 lbs lighter.....

Given how fussy these (and all modern high performance) cars are, you may be setting yourself up for a world of pain if you deviate from the installed battery spec.

The early "one-size-fits- all" Antigravity battery requiring a custom tie-down was too weak to power all the features on the F-Type (particularly the stop-start feature). Since then they produced a full-sized Antigravity H8/Group-49 battery plenty strong to handle the F-Type. Mine has been working flawlessly for a couple years now. Weighs in at 19 lbs. Pricey, but has a nice emergency start feature.
