Default Battery drain yes or not when the car is just unlocked?

I have the car in the garage for about a week+, and I was paranoid about the battery drain so I have told them to disconnect the battery just to be sure. Is this an issue like OBD port drain, or does the car go to sleep properly so I can leave the car unlocked for some time?
Thank you

The systems in the car remain active for about 20 minutes (intentionally) unless the car is locked. It is easy to determine when the car goes to sleep by observing the red hazard triangle on the console. If it is illuminated, the systems have not gone into sleep mode. Even if you do NOT lock the car, this light will only stay on for about 20 minutes…if it stays on, there is a battery drain. The solution for the car’s insomnia is simply to disconnect the battery for several minutes. This resets the systems.

Don’t close the trunk if you disconnect the battery!

So If I leave the car unlocked after 20 min the car goes to sleep anyway?

Yes.

WE keep our F-Type <<safe>> in its garage, not locked. (Close to our battery chargers and maintainers, I might add.)
No battery warnings even after non-starting for more than two weeks.

Based on my experience and reading lots of threads on this forum, I would recommend keeping the battery connected when at the shop. The risk is too high that someone will inadvertently close the hatch/boot with the battery disconnected and then gaining access to the battery compartment is a major challenge. I would drop off the vehicle with a fully charged battery and leave it connected as normal.

YES. But you should verify this by checking that the emergency flasher triangle is not on.

I keep the car in the garage unlocked, unless I know I am going to be away for more than a couple of days. The red triangle always goes out. I also subscribed to Jaguar Remote which provides an update on the car status. The app will tell me that the car has gone to sleep. Jaguar Remote provides a location service, so you can log in and check your car, from wherever you are via your phone.
If you're concerned about the battery drain, like others have said, make sure the red triangle goes out and then get a battery conditioner, like a Ctek.
