My 2016 F Type R has recently been positing a "low battery warning, please start vehicle", on my dash as soon as I enter the car. This morning, after leaving it on the charger all night, and seeing a green light on the charger panel, it immediately gave the same warning. Since I know the battery was fully charged, what could be causing this indication?. Thanks for any clues.
How old is the battery? An older battery may not be able to maintain the proper voltage to meet all of the finicky F-Type electrical system needs, even after being charged.
Does the hazard warning triangle on the dash go out after the car has been shutoff for ten minutes? If not the battery is being drained. To correct the issue you need to disconnect one of the battery leads for a minute.
The best question to ask is 'did someone plug something into the obdii port recently? A dealer? A smog check? Yourself?" The vast majority of time, it' simply that someone didn't exist an obdii session correctly and that leaves the car in a state with a parasitic drain that will kill the battery in less than a week. The dealer caused this on my car twice.
@Bearly Invest in a BT battery monitor. Takes 5 minutes to install across the terminals and will let you know exactly what is going on. I have an Ancel300Pro but there are cheaper ones on Amzn. It showed me that every time I unlock the car or open the door the voltage drops by 0.5V immediately even after full charging. Please report back.
Have a dash cam installed? My dashcam (DroneXC) has a constant phantom drain on my battery, ugh.
Yeah I wanted to avoid that issue completely, I went with a battery pack addition. Camera is wired to battery pack, battery pack hardwired into the fuse box. Battery pack only charges when engine is on.

I checked the battery both running and engine off. It retains 12.6VDC at rest, and 14.4VDC while running. I replaced bank two sensor one O2 sensor after getting a light on the dash, and that was the code at the port. I don't know the age of the battery, but if it's keeping voltage at rest, I assume it's decent. Any other ideas?? LOL
It corrects a fault that occurs when the ODBII port is accessed and the session is not shut down correctly. That fault causes the battery to be drained. The telltale sign the fault is occurring is the red warning triangle on the dash never goes out. Disconnecting one of the leads solves the issue temporarily until the next time an ODBII session is not ended correctly.
You have to reset the bms with a scan tool
I'll be posting another video of my wife's F-type R Maintenance and Battery info, I'm putting a Stage 4 for here

It has disappeared for now, so I guess it corrected itself?. LOL Thanks for your comment.
I noticed in your pictures an Isoft scanner V3.0, however, I looked these up and they're specified for Porsche, is that sequestered for Porsche only, or is it available to all makes?. Just curious.
