Default Battery Problems. Urgent help needed.

Dear Jaguar Forum,
I am looking here desperately for your help.
I drive a beautiful Red 2015 Jaguar F-Type. In the beginning of the year it showed me that I had a battery problem. The car did start up and I never needed a jumpstart. Now before I left for a vacation I swapped the battery and 3-4 days into my vacation my brother called me and told me that it wouldn't start up anymore. Of course I waited till im back and I tried to jumpstart it but It didn't work. Luckily in Germany we have ADAC so they came and hooked up something on my battery and it started straight away. I then went onwards to drive about 1 hour around town and on the highway and drove back. After 30 mins of leaving it standing I had to open the doors manually but the car straight away started. I drove then for another 30 minutes and went back home. And then the same thing happened again.

My question is, what am I supposed to do next? Should I put in a new battery or does anyone know what could cause this problem? Or do I have to change my Key?

There are two possible issues. First the new battery you purchased may not have been fully charged when you purchased it. Put it on a battery charger or maintainer and charge it until it is full. Second F-Types have an issue when the OBD port is accessed and the session is not terminated correctly. That will cause the battery to drain. The telltale sign for this is the warning triangle on the dash stays illuminated after the car has been shut off for ten minutes.

If that if happening there is an easy fix. Disconnect the negative battery terminal for a minute and then reconnect it. That will resolve the issue. After doing that check and make sure the warning triangle on the dash does not remain illuminated after the car has been shutoff for ten minutes.

There are multiple grounding points on the car--it could be a corroded/bad ground that is intermittent. Make sure all the ground cables are tight.
