Battery Reset - New Variation
There are a lot of threads on battery reset issues but I don't find one that matches my situation. I have not had any battery issues or warning messages so did not have need to check the if red hazard triangle stays lit. But today I did notice it was on (no idea for how long) so did the reset by disconnecting the negative battery cable. Red hazard stays lit even after leaving the negative disconnected for 10+ minutes. Car has started and operated with no issues. I will put the CTEK on to make sure of the charge but what could cause the red triangle issue without any warning messages? Nothing has been connected to the OBD.
Thanks for the help - this forum is a very valuable resource.

It was unlocked when I first noticed it but following that I checked a couple of times through the window when it was locked and it was still on. But the triangle was out after sitting overnight - locked - with the CTEK doing its thing. So some combination of time and charging seems to have resolved it. That is, until I have emissions testing in January complete with an OBD hookup.
I probably overreacted but appreciate the reply, thanks.
